To reach the shop, leave our fully equipped self-catering apartment in the Place Saint Jean and walk a short distance in the direction of the Place Bellecour.

Since the creation of Palomas chocolate factory in 1917, each generation of these Master Chocolatiers have built on a long tradition of artisanal chocolate confectionary. They are committed to high quality, specialised products, selecting only the best raw materials with no preservatives or artificial flavours.

You will find in this Chocolate store many chocolates and sweets which are specialities of Lyon.

Their first chocolate speciality was patented in 1953 under the evocative name of « Delicia »: palettes of dark chocolate which are as delicious as their name suggests.

Then, in 1956, it was the turn of « Les Palets de Fourvière » : crusty thin meringue fill with chocolate, nuts and praline mixed according to a secret recipe.

Finally, patented in 1965, were « Les Amandes de Bellecour ». Indescribable! Almond nougatine shells stuffed with praline almonds or pistachio almond paste or marzipan fruits. You can recognise them by their pastel of colours.

By now you will have understood that the products from this establishment combine sophistication, creativity and flavour.
